What Is the Cat C 3a Test?
The Category C 3a test is the off-road element of the HGV practical assessment. It focuses on manoeuvring skills, including reversing into a designated bay and demonstrating full control of the vehicle in a controlled environment. It’s the first step before progressing to the on-road 3b test.
Laura handled each element with confidence and composure—an excellent result and a clear reflection of her hard work and dedication.
