We are delighted to extend our congratulations to Samantha for passing her D1 minibus driver training test, and also on the first attempt, at MT Training’s Tewkesbury Training Centre. Samantha’s success is a testament to her commitment and the high-quality training provided by our experienced D1 Minibus driving instructor team.

Samantha has demonstrated excellence in obtaining her D1 Minibus + D Coach Category’s driving licence, encompassing vehicles with 9 to 16 passenger seats. To attain a Category D or D1 driving licence, candidates must be at least 18 years old and hold a full car licence. The journey begins by obtaining a provisional PCV licence through a medical examination and submission of forms to the DVLA in Swansea. After successfully completing the theory test and driving assessment, candidates can book their minibus training driving course with us.

Having D1 entitlement on the driving licence is essential for those paid to drive or driving a vehicle with a GVW over 3500kg. If the driving test was passed before January 1997, individuals inherit D1 entitlement as part of that test.

At MT Training Services in Tewkesbury, we take pride in providing comprehensive D1 minibus driver training programs. Our experienced instructors guide candidates through the necessary steps, ensuring they are fully prepared for the theory test, driving assessment, and the practical aspects of minibus driving.

If you or someone you know is considering D1 minibus driver training, MT Training Services is here to support you on this rewarding journey.
