What Is the C1 3a Test?
The C1 3a is the first part of the practical assessment for a Category C1 licence, allowing drivers to operate vehicles between 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes—often used by delivery drivers, private ambulance staff, and tradespeople.
The 3a element focuses on off-road manoeuvring and includes:

🚐 Safe handling and positioning of the vehicle
